Approximate Card Dimensions: Height 4.5" x Width 3". Introduced for Fall 1991, the Polo Ralph Lauren for Boys "Good Sports" hangtag program is based on trading cards of bygone years. Any Polo Boyswear product that has undergone a special treatment, for example, garment washing, will come with a collectible hangtag to explain the special properties of that process. Not only does the hangtag offer practical information about the product, but also has an exciting Sports image on the front, and an interesting anecdote about the sport on the back. An expanding program of Sports images, these collectable tags may have any one of up to four related tales on the back face of the card. For instance, one variation of the Football image has the story of the evolution of football as we know it today, another carries the tale of the first Army/Navy game, and, it could have one of two famous football hero stories.
